- Spy Museum. This new and very popular museum commemorates
international espionage throughout history. The
fee is $13 for adults and advance tickets are recommended.
It is located at 800 F Street NW near the Gallery
Place / Chinatown metro stop. For information, visit

- Movies. Only a few cinemas offer student discounts.
One of these is the AMC Courthouse Theater in Virginia
(located right at the Courthouse metro stop). Students
with ID pay the matinee price of $6 for evening
shows. Call 703-998-4262 for showtimes. For independent
film, try Visions Cinema on Florida Avenue in the
Adams Morgan/Dupont Circle area (www.visionsdc.com).
Evening tickets are $6.50 for students.
- New York City. The cheapest way to get to NY
is by bus. Roundtrip tickets cost $35 on both the “Chinatown
bus” (goes from DC Chinatown to NY Chinatown)
and the Washington Deluxe bus (which leaves from

for details. You may also travel by train, which
costs around $60 or $80 for a one-way ticket. You
may purchase tickets in advance through www.amtrak.com
